When the clatter of keyboards at our desks paused, we spent two days and one night heading to the mountains, waters, and fresh breeze of Zengcheng Forest Sea.
Prologue · Departure is For a Better Return
September in Shenzhen, the cicadas are as intense as our performance targets.
During the busiest market delivery season, GOODWORK arranged a team gathering, taking our partners who fight side by side to Guangzhou Zengcheng Forest Sea Resort for a team-building trip designed just for GOODWORK people.
The bus slowly left Shenzhen, and everyone temporarily set aside KPIs and clients to head for an adventure in the mountains and seas.
First Stop: Fun Icebreakers
——Collaboration is the True Color of a Team
After arriving at the scenic spot and enjoying a local lunch, everyone changed and gathered to kick off a fun team challenge.
Activities like the “Catch the Shrimp while Slack” squad PK and the “South-to-North Water Diversion” relay game went on one after another. Water basins were passed hand to hand among team members, everyone cooperating and connecting quickly, fully protecting the water flow in their hands. Some people splashed water everywhere in a fluster, while others coordinated smoothly to maintain the rhythm, filling the scene with laughter.
Some say that the best team-building activities are those that allow everyone to see each other in a new light through games.

Stop 2: Water Fun Park
— Ride the waves together and let go of work stress
If icebreaker games test teamwork, then the Forest Water Park is where you can fully let loose and have fun.
Everyone can try the water slides, weaving through the forest while feeling the splash on your face; take a stroll in the forest oxygen bar and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
What splashes is water, what draws hearts closer is friendship.
On normal days, everyone is busy working hard, handling customer and supply chain issues. Right now, amidst the mountains and rivers, we can relax and, with laughter and fun, build even stronger trust with each other.
Stop 3: Camp BBQ
— Fireworks rise, sharing your thoughts with friends
As the sun sets in the west, the campfire at the mountain campsite slowly rises, and the melody of outdoor karaoke plays, officially kicking off the BBQ dinner.
The sizzling aroma of grilled food fills the air as everyone sits around the long table, raising their glasses and chatting casually.
The campfire warms friends and brings hearts together.
We let the fatigue from our daily work and all the growth we’ve experienced blend into this mountain night, wishing GOODWORK’s future to rise and shine just like this bonfire.
After dinner, everyone heads to the hot spring resort to check in, soak in a hot spring, unwind from the day, and recharge.
Stop 4: Mountain Off-Roading
——Take the wheel on the journey, undaunted by the rough road ahead
Morning light spills over the hotel, and everyone leisurely enjoys breakfast, soaks in the hot springs, plays some board games, and savors the relaxed early hours.
After a short rest, it’s time for an outdoor adventure: mountain off-roading. Two people per vehicle, gripping the steering wheel, racing along the trails, climbing up and down the slopes, feeling the thrill of the off-road rush.
The bumpy trails are just like our journey in the semiconductor industry—full of ups and downs and challenges—but as long as we have each other, we can move forward fearlessly.
After finishing the off-road challenge, everyone enjoys a farmhouse-style lunch together, with mountain and countryside delicacies soothing body and mind.
Epilogue | What we brought back from Zengcheng isn’t just photos
Two days and one night, gone in a flash.
Flipping through the album on the way back, there are laughs splashing everywhere in the games, carefree moments at the water park, group photos under the lights of the barbecue camp, and the thrill of off-road adventures in the mountains. Every photo is a vivid mark of this journey.
Thanks to the company for carefully arranging this team-building trip. It gave everyone more than just a mountain getaway—it gave us a weighty sense of team camaraderie.
